ConnectDCare Family Practice was founded with the intention of providing detailed, individualized care. We are dedicated to the betterment of our patients and aim to serve our community to the best of our ability. Whether you are a new patient of the practice or have been with us for long, we are committed to making you feel at home and providing the best care.
Here at ConnectdCare, we offer a wide array of in-office and telehealth primary care services for adolescent through geriatric patients. We also accept most major insurance plans.

Dr. Kemi Ogunwusi, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, RN.
Family Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Kemi was born in Nigeria. She embarked on a career in Nursing by attending Delaware State University, and she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. With her passion for education and eagerness to deliver quality care, Dr. Kemi attended Walden University to receive a Master's in Nursing Informatics and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in General Nursing Practice. After years of experience providing bedside care and clinical precepting at a community college in Delaware, she once again leaped to improve her skills. Dr.Kemi receives her second Master's in Family Nurse Practitioner from United States University. Dr. Kemi has provided primary care at her private practice location to many patients in her community.
Dr. Kemi created several avenues to deliver what she is passionate about; Integrated, accessible care that is reachable to her patients.
She started ConnectDCare Inc., a 501(c) non-profit organization that provides free health literacy and free health screenings to the underserved in underdeveloped areas. Her ultimate goals are to bridge the gap in the complex healthcare systems and ensure everyone stays as healthy as possible.
Privately, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys organizing health fairs and missions to continue delivering education and medical care to those in need. .
